MAP decentralizes calculation of labor benefits in the State

He Ministry of Administration Public (map) approved, through Resolution No. 316-2024, the decentralization of the calculation of benefits and labor benefits. Starting October 19, the offices of resources humans of each state entity, including decentralized institutions, will be responsible for calculating and paying labor benefits to public servants dismissed for any reason, including cases of death or pension.

The resolution, signed by the minister of Administration Public Administration, Sigmund Freund, establishes that the administrative, financial and resources humans of each institution must ensure that calculations comply with legal and regulatory requirements. To do this, they must follow internal procedures that ensure accuracy and transparency in payments. A press release from the ministry reported on the provision.

Likewise, it is highlighted that institutions must provide in their budgets the items necessary to cover the compensation legal and vacation pay in case of separation. These processes will be carried out in coordination with the Comptroller General of the Republic, as the internal control body of the State.

Of the claims

One of the main novelties of this resolution is that the institutions will be responsible for managing these calculations through the System of Claim Labor (Reclasoft). This system, developed by mapseeks to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of payments to former public servants, allowing State entities and bodies to directly carry out the administrative management of benefits.

“The decentralization of the approval of labor benefits calculations will allow each entity or body to manage the administrative and financial management of labor benefits calculations in a more direct and agile manner. By delegating this responsibility to the entities and bodies themselves, the process administrative, waiting times are reduced and the capacity to respond to dismissals, for any reason, of officials or public servants is improved,” the resolution indicates.

Furthermore, the organisms in process merger or elimination should validate these calculations with the map before proceeding with payments.
