The Foreign Minister of Venezuela, Yván Gil, announced today the sending of some 14 tons of humanitarian aid to the people of Syria and Lebanon, as a gesture of solidarity in the face of Israeli attacks against the civilian population of those countries.
The supplies donated by the Venezuelan people and the Bolivarian Government are already on their way to those countries, “as a gesture of solidarity and support towards our brother peoples,” the senior diplomat wrote on his Telegram account.
Gil affirmed that Venezuela remains firm in its commitment to supporting the nations of the Middle East in their fight for peace and self-determination.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported on its website that this is the first shipment of humanitarian aid consisting, fundamentally, of medicines, food and belongings.

Pugh meant that this is a message of humanity, support and affection, and a sign of the determined union of Venezuela with the Arab peoples in the face of the continued massacre of the Zionist State of Israel.

Lebbos and Al Deen thanked the Venezuelan Government and people for their displays of solidarity.
