Dominican arrested for transporting undocumented Haitians

Members of the Army of the Dominican Republic detained a Dominican on the Barahona-Azua highway who was transporting a 10 Haitian nationals without any documentation.

The detainee and the occupied vehicle were taken to the ERD 5th Infantry Brigade with seat in Barahona for the corresponding purposes and submission to justice, while the undocumented were handed over to the General Directorate of Migration (DGM), the Dominican Army reported in a statement.
