The Supreme Electoral Tribunal (TSE) published this Sunday, October 13, the list of qualified, disqualified and non-qualified persons to participate in the Election of Authorities of the Plurinational Constitutional Court, Supreme Court of Justice, Agro-Environmental Court and Council of the Judiciary 2024.

If your name appears on the list of disabled or not qualified, you can make your claim on Monday, October 14 and Tuesday, October 15. In this note we present all the information on the subject.

1 Where and how do I find out if I am disqualified?

Check if it is disabled in the Yo Participado application for Android devices, on the website www.oep.org.bo or scan the QR

TSE

2 I got on the disabled list! What should I do?

You must submit the Claim Form available at the link https://reclamos.oep.org.bo/along with a copy of the current identity card (scanned or photocopied) and some other document that proves that the disqualification can be remedied (tickets, medical certificates, etc.).

You can file your claim on the grounds of “non-voting citizen.” in it Departmental Electoral Tribunal (TED) or in the Civic Registry Service (Serecí). For cases that have any other reason for disqualification, they can present their claims at any Serecí office.

3 From and until when can I regularize my situation?

According to the electoral calendar, disqualified people can present their claims from Monday, October 14 to Tuesday, October 15, 2024.

4 Can I process the authorization of another person?

No, filling out the form is personal.

5 Can I request my authorization at a TED other than my voting department?

It is recommended that you file your claim with the department where you will cast your vote if you are reinstated.

6 What are the reasons for disqualifying someone as a “non-voting citizen”?

For these elections, a person is disqualified as a “non-voting citizen” if they did not vote in the previous two national-level electoral processes (General Elections 2020 and Election of Political, Departmental, Regional and Municipal Authorities 2021).

7 What happens if I do not resolve my disqualification?

You will not be able to cast your vote in the Judicial Elections on December 1, 2024.

8 Since when can the Yo Participado application be consulted?

The application has been updated since Sunday, December 13, 2024. The final update of the Electoral Roll will take place on October 25, 2024.

9 What does “capture error” mean as a cause for disqualification?

There are cases where the notary operator carried out the registration with incomplete data or errors, which were not noticed by the registered person at the time of signing their registration slip. If they cannot be corrected by the technology department, the registration does not meet the conditions to be part of the Electoral Registry, so the citizen must register again for an upcoming electoral process.

10 What does “invalid document” mean as a cause for disqualification?

This case occurs when the citizen registered using an expired document or that does not correspond to a valid identity card, and the electoral notary did not detect this situation. Since the registration was not carried out with a suitable document, it does not meet the requirements to be part of the Electoral Registry. Therefore, the citizen must register again in the next electoral process.
