The first day of oral exams and job proposals for 15 candidates for Attorney General stumbled over the formulation of the questions and the responses that the universities and professional entities sent to the joint Plural Justice commission. One more phase of the qualification and election of applicants is carried out to designate the new head of the Public Ministry.
As of 8:00 p.m., only seven applicants had submitted their job proposal and faced the oral examination phase. In all cases there was debate on the questions sent by the universitiesthe parliamentarians did not agree on a possible cancellation of the question and that the applicant return to draw another ball.
The candidates had to choose 10 balls at random. Each bolillo has a question that in turn has a value of 7 points, which makes 70 points; Then 10 additional points are played with their work proposal, making a total of 80 points in this phase.
The problems arose when they realized that in several cases the answer to the question was wrong and therefore it was not known if the candidate could get another bolillo. For each of the seven cases there was debate and the senators declared an intermission on two occasions to reach an agreement.
The delays were even questioned by the candidates themselves because the questions were poorly formulated and the answers were not correct, which caused a new debate.
In fact, The session started quite late Well, it was scheduled for 08:30 but it only started after 13:00 and throughout the day the question and answer problems arose.
Of the seven candidates who took their exam three did not reach 130 pointsTherefore, they were out of the race. The regulations stipulate that out of the 200 points at stake to get on the list that will be sent to the Assembly, a minimum of 130 points is required.
