The authorities have everything ready to move to the former president Jeanine Áñez, the governor of Santa Cruz Luis Fernando Camacho and the former civic leader of Potosí, Marco Antonio Pumari, to a court in La Paz. The transfer is carried out within the framework of the trial by the ‘Coup I’ case‘, related to the political crisis of 2019, whose start is scheduled for October 14 at 09:00, in person.

The director of the Penitentiary Regime, Juan Carloslíneas, confirmed that The penitentiary centers have already been notified and that all necessary measures were taken to comply with the court order.

In the case of Marco Antonio Pumari, who will be transferred from the Cantumarca prison in Potosí, Pinturas explained that He could spend the night in the San Pedro prison in La Paz, if necessary.

The First Anti-Corruption Sentencing Court of La Paz will be in charge of carrying out the trial, which will have the physical presence of the accused.
