The rector of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), Leonardo Lomelí Vanegas, and the president of the Herbert H. Lehman College of the City University of New York (CUNY), Fernando Delgado, yesterday signed an agreement for academic, educational and to promote relationships of mutual understanding.
In a brief, but significant ceremony, in the context of the International Book Fair of this city, Rector Lomelí highlighted the opportunities open to students and academics of the two institutions to broaden their horizons.
The document includes promoting the exchange of teachers, researchers and students; carry out summer schools and/or programs aimed at teachers, in addition to carrying out joint research, conferences, workshops and other actions agreed upon by the two higher education institutions.
