In that sense, he pointed out that people are registered in three categories: low, moderate or high risk. This qualification translates into the interest rate and access to credit.
In this way, a person, when the risk is low, can obtain better rates and greater ease of accessing credit.
“The riskier a person is, the higher the rates and a more complicated process for accessing credit, because they can even ask me for a guarantee,” he said.
Likewise, he stated that the data shown in the private centers cannot be older than five years. “Time limitations apply in the private sector, not in the public sector,” he added.

The information from risk centers does not only refer to credits, since many of these companies maintain agreements with various companies to collect other data.
“Information regarding non-payment of services will be included if they were not paid for at least six consecutive months,” explained Javier Mori.
Furthermore, he specified that in the event that information is disseminated that is not correct or exact, it can be corrected so that users are not affected.
“It is healthy that when a person finishes paying a debt, they ask for their ‘no debt letter’ to have proof that they do not have any outstanding accounts,” he said.
