Regarding whether the judges who are mentioned by the Public Ministry as victims of espionage, and who last Wednesday attended the hearing of the request for a coercive measure, influenced the judge’s decision, Acosta pointed out that he has no evidence. that the preventive detention against Beras was for that reason. “I cannot guarantee something that is a supposition,” he said, although he considered it “strange and surprising.”

Other of the main defendants who were imposed 18 months of preventive pressure are José Ángel Gómez Canaán (Jochi), owner of the company Aurix SAS, and Pedro Padovani, former head of the Traffic Control Center. Furthermore, the judge declared the case complex.
The other defendants are: Frank Rafael Atilano Díaz WardenOffice coordinator and representative of Hugo Beras before the Intrant Purchasing Committee; Samuel Gregorio Baquero SepúlvedaDirector of Technology; Juan Francisco Álvarez, Administrative and Financial Director of Intrant. The companies Transcore Latam, Aurix and Inprosol are also charged.
