During this Thursday’s ordinary session of the National Assembly (AN), the appointment and swearing-in of the Committee of Evaluations and Nominations of the Citizen Power was carried out, in order to carry out the subsequent appointment of the new attorney general of the Republic, defender of the people and Comptroller General of the Republic.
The formation of this parliamentary committee will be carried out in accordance with article 279 of the Constitution of the Republic and in accordance with article 23 of the Organic Law of Citizen Power.
The commission will have a period of up to 30 days to present the nominations for subsequent election to the plenary session.
