Orsi demands that Ojeda give answers regarding security: “today he is part of the government”

Orsi claimed that Ojeda, being part of the current government, should give “now” answers regarding security.

“Ojeda ‘today is part of the government and feels part of the government, and even he himself declares that he is a follower of the President of the Republic,’” Orsi declared at a press conference.

Ojeda, who presented his references in public security, including figures such as Gustavo Zubía and Diego Sanjurjo, had questioned whether the Frente Amplio would turn to figures such as Gustavo Leal or Mario Layera for the Ministry of the Interior if it won the elections. Given this proposal, Orsi insisted that “the security responses have to be given now.”

The Broad Front candidate also expressed that “in an electoral campaign it is not appropriate to be asking others in public. I think the most correct thing is to give people solutions.” He added that, although he respects the current officials of the Ministry of the Interior, he expects the same respect for those who make up his political force.

Finally, Orsi celebrated that Ojeda presented his equipment and highlighted that “it is very good that it is recognized that suddenly in other stores there are other people who can contribute.”
