Santiago de los Caballeros.- The National Police, through its Crimes against Property Investigation Division, arrested Jackson Martínez, known as “El Bolo”, 20 years old, who was wanted under an arrest warrant for his alleged participation in the robbery of an employee. of a betting bank in the La Barranquita sector, which occurred on September 9.
According to the police report, “El Bolo” and a still unidentified accomplice arrived at the establishment in a vehicle. One of them, carrying a knife, threatened the victim and stole the sum of 18,300 pesos, 50 dollars, a piggy bank, several credit cards and other valuables.
The National Police has intensified investigations to locate the second suspect involved in the assault. Meanwhile, Jackson Martínez has been placed at the disposal of the Public Ministry, where he will face the corresponding charges for his criminal acts.
The authorities call on citizens to collaborate with information that can help identify and capture the accomplice.
