Agents of the Scientific, Criminal and Criminalistic Investigations Corps, assigned to the Coordination against Organized Crime, killed three members of the El Guasón criminal gang, who keep the fishing community of the Eastern Coast of Lake Maracaibo beaten.
The officials located the criminals in the Punta de Palma sector, San José parish of the Miranda municipality (Los Puertos de Altagracia), where a first exchange of shots took place, says the Cicpc in a report on Instagram.
In the confrontation, three of the subjects were injured, who fled and took refuge in the Punta de Palma Outpatient Clinic. There they subdued the health personnel, who were later rescued by the Cicpc commissions that were present at the scene, a situation that led to the second confrontation.
In that second scuffle, three members of the criminal organization were killed, identified as Rafael José Barrios Nava (25), nicknamed Lamprea; Jakson José Chacín Martínez (31), alias Minijakson, and Yordani David Espina Acosta (23), known as Package.
In the middle of the shooting, two members of the gang escaped: Julio Coco and Cerita, who are wanted by security agencies.
The criminals had three pistols and two rifles, which were confiscated.
In another procedure, agents of the Bolivarian National Guard had a confrontation in La Retama, Miranda municipality, Falcón, with two armed individuals, one of whom was killed and identified as José David Colina Duno (El Porro).
This subject is accused of killing with a firearm the official of the Bolivarian National Police Freddery José Zárraga Tremont (26) and the motorcycle taxi driver Elías Emmanuel Limonchi (27), an event that occurred last Sunday in the Arístides Calvani sector, Coro.
The agents collected a 9 mm Browning PGP pistol at the scene, with a magazine containing five unfired cartridges.
