The investigated César Hinostroza He was removed from the position of supreme judge by the National Board of Justiceafter applying the ordinary disciplinary process 064-2023, in which it was attributed to him that in his capacity as judge of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Republic he interfered in the resolution of the case assigned as file 15758-2023, followed against Luis Alberto Torres and others for the crime of extortion in order to favor those referred with the declaration of annulment of the sentence.
It should be noted that this is the fifth dismissal that the JNJ imposes on Hinostroza, so it does not have major effects, since he is no longer a judge since 2018, when he was dismissed by Congress. Nor will the 5-year period of impediment to sponsor someone or oneself be restarted, since the Supreme Court has specified that only the first dismissal of the JNJ in 2022 should be taken into account to calculate the impediment.
