The only person who visited him during the first days was Dámaris Moreno Sánchez, a Venezuelan citizen who works as a domestic worker. Moreno Sánchez was in the prison for four hours and explained, when intercepted by the Latina cameras, that His visit had the purpose of bringing medicine to Hurtado.

Regarding the state of health of ‘Chibolín’, Dámaris Moreno commented that “He’s a little bad, he’s in a psychiatric health office”. However, the woman avoided giving more details about Hurtado’s situation in prison, arguing the complexity of the legal case she faces.
