Taveras asegura reforma constitucional elimina “maldición” de la reelección indefinida

“Today we present a reform to strengthen our democratic system, to put a lock on it so that no president ever again wants to violate the democratic principles of our constitution. Two terms and never again,” said the senator when promoting the piece in the National Assembly.

Antonio Taveras called on all deputies and senators to approve the prohibition of indefinite presidential re-election, and asked citizens to be attentive so that they know those who vote against democratic advance and the closure of authoritarian projects.
