These are two different cases, one in Petare and the other in the state of Carabobo, one of the victims was an educator.
The body of a 23-year-old woman was located inside her room located in the La Alcabala neighborhood, Petare, Sucre municipality (Miranda). The body showed signs of having been murdered by mechanical asphyxiation, according to investigations.
The victim was identified as María José Uzcátegui (23), who worked in a restaurant in Caracas. She lived with her boyfriend in the aforementioned Petareño neighborhood where she was located last Sunday.
A similar incident was detected last Sunday in a home in the Vista Alegre sector, Mariara (Carabobo), where the body of Marianela Montoya, a 44-year-old educator, was found. Apparently she was strangled by her ex-partner.
Cicpc agents went to the site, lifted the body and began investigations. According to testimonies, they presume that the subject acted motivated by an attack of jealousy, according to preliminary investigations.
