Tax reform proposal contemplates an increase in the public sector minimum wage to RD$15 thousand

Propuesta de reforma fiscal contempla aumento al salario mínimo del sector público a RD$15 mil

Among the proposals that the Government presented this Monday for tax reform is the increase in the public sector minimum wage by 50%. In that sense, the amount would go from 10 thousand pesos to RD$15,000.

This was reported by the Minister of Finance, José Manuel “Jochi” Vicente, during the development of La Semanal con la Prensa, headed by President Luis Abinader from the National Palace.

Vicente also presented four main axes on which the proposal for fiscal transformation revolves.
