SANTIAGO.- A truck driver shot his romantic partner in the head with several bullets yesterday afternoon while he was in his home in the Ranchito Viejo community, in the city of La Vega.
The victim was identified as Yanilda Hernández, while the perpetrator was identified as Miguel Cruz Peguero (Miguelito), who fled the scene as soon as he committed the crime.
According to reports from neighbors, Miguelito was drinking alcoholic beverages before killing his partner.

They had been in a relationship for ten years and had a son who is four years old.
The victim worked in a private company in La Vega, while the murderer is a truck driver by profession.
The Police investigate the case.
