This week an important working meeting was held between the team of the National Congress of the Bolivarian Historical Block and the Sectoral Vice Presidency of Public Works and Services. The meeting was led by the coordinator of the Congress and sectoral vice president of Planning, Ricardo Menendeztogether with the sectoral vice president of Public Works and Services, G/D Jorge Marquez.
During the meeting, the methodologies of the assemblies and the congress schedule were discussed. Menéndez presented the three key moments that must be followed in the assemblies: “Fascism or Homeland”, the construction of the Concrete Action Agenda of the Seven Transformations (7T) and the revolutionary transformation of the State.
Menéndez also highlighted that the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolas Madurohas proposed three central documents: “The vision for the next 30 years, the construction of the ACA and the revolutionary transformation of the State.”
Likewise, Ricardo Menéndez stressed the importance of all grassroots, sectoral and communal assemblies registering in the Congress Platform: https://congresodelblockhistorico.mppp.gob.ve/. The proposals will be presented to the President of the Republic in the plenary session that will take place from October 31 to November 2.
The Ministers of Popular Power for Transportation, Ramón Velásquez Araguayán, also participated in the meeting; of Ecosocialism, Josue Lorca; of Public Works, Juan José Ramírez; of Habitat and Housing, Raúl Paredes; of Water, Carlos Mast Yustiz; the president of Cantv, Jesús Aldana; the president of the National Institute of Statistics, Raúl Pacheco and the vice minister of Territorial Planning, Edgar Valero.
This meeting reinforces the government’s commitment to the planning and execution of projects that promote the comprehensive development of the country, aligned with the strategic vision set for the coming decades.
