Carlos Pimentel dice que «hay mucho más que decir» sobre contrato INTRANT-Transcore Latam

The Director of Public Procurement, Carlos Pimentelrevealed this Thursday “that there is much more to say” about the contract made by the National Land Traffic Institute, (INTRANT) and the company Transcore Latam, in which several irregularities were found.

«Right now it is in a process of Public Ministry and let’s wait and in a trial the whole truth will be known, there is much more to say, I will be cautious for now.

Pimentel said that the General Directorate of Contracting issued five resolutions in which it annulled all the documentation referring to said tender with Transcore Latam, and that it was that entity that sent the case to the Attorney General’s Office of the Republic and that they complied with the provisions of Law 340.

«We have fulfilled according to the mandate of the Law 03-40 and that case is now in other instances, in the hands of the Public Ministry, which is fulfilling its functions,” he explained.

“We reiterate that we are at your service for any information or documentation in relation to that case,” he added.

In addition, he attributed Hugo Beras’ statements that supposedly the security agencies had failed to personal positions. control.
