Clara Brugada will prioritize reforms, citizen attention and the Metropolitan Council

At the same time, Brugada will seek metropolitan coordination to respond to problems that go beyond the territorial limits of Mexico City.

The head of Government said that, as of October 5, a new stage in Public Administration will begin, since her work in social organizations and in positions in the legislature and as mayor allowed her to expand her vision in citizen care.

He considered that Mexico City has made progress in many rights and social programs, which is why he extended his hand to all sectors, mayors and deputies of any party to work together for the benefit of the capital’s residents.

“I was head of the delegation and mayor, I am a municipalist by conviction. I will work with the 16 mayors of this city to together address problems that affect citizens. Regardless of your party origin, we are going to work together,” he stated.

She announced that starting Monday, October 7, she will hold public hearings in the Zócalo, where members of her cabinet will accompany her to personally attend to the problems of the inhabitants of the capital. At the same time, he promised to carry out house-to-house visits to hear their needs directly from citizens.

“We will go once a week to knock on the homes of the neighborhoods to collect and immediately address the demands and problems of the people,”

Metropolitan vision

Brugada announced that he will call on the federal government, the government of Morelos, Hidalgo, Tlaxcala, Mexico City and the State of Mexico to form a Metropolitan Council to address and resolve problems that affect the inhabitants in different areas.
