Gaby Carrizo: ‘There are no issues relevant to politics on our agenda’

On March 27, the internal elections will be held to choose the delegates to the general congress of the Democratic Revolutionary Party (PRD), the day on which the corregimiento directives will also be chosen, among others.

Given this, this Tuesday the campaign process of the delegates began and Vice President José Gabriel Carrizo was approached by the media on the subject, stating that “our agenda is to execute and act on President Cortizo’s campaign promises, in our there are no issues relevant to politics on the agenda”.

He added that “politics will come, and I believe that a few have wanted to advance political times and above all with the attacks they can make on me.”

Carrizo emphasized that the greatest concern of this government is to meet the needs of the people and those most in need.

Regarding the work table on medicines, which he leads, he declared that the next meeting will be on March 3.

“We will have a second meeting where we must agree to meet on March 14, that day we must make a first recommendation to the president, which is to address the problem in phases because it is multidimensional and change the problem from there is not to there is. Yesterday (Monday) we delivered the diagnosis and is being analyzed by the parties of the table”, he remarked.
