He Minister of the Presidency, José Ignatius Beatingsent a letter to the head of the Specialized Prosecutor’s Office against Administrative Corruption (PEPCA), Wilson Camacho, requesting the correction of an alleged mistake in it record of the operation chameleon.

On page 174 the Administrative Ministry of the Presidency is cited as follows:
“…Hugo Marine Leopoldo Beras Coico Ramírez, promoted the mechanism of input of funds coming from another institutionwho set out to manage the funds necessary support financial through the Ministry Administrative of the Presidencyassigning them RD$1,200,000,000.00 from IDAC; It was found that for instructions of the lord Hugo Marine Leopoldo Beras Coico Ramírez, all administrative actions were initiated at INTRANT headquarters for the execution of the contracting process.”
