Who is Luis Rosendo Gutiérrez Romano?
Luis Rosendo has a degree in Economics and a degree in Political Science from the Autonomous Technological Institute of Mexico (ITAM); Master in Economic Development at the London School of Economics (LSE) and Master and Doctor in Government from the University of Essex, in the United Kingdom.
Throughout his career he has worked as a public official in various federal government institutions, such as the Ministry of Commerce and Industrial Development, the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit (SHCP) and the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS). At the local level, he served as Treasurer and Undersecretary of Planning in the Government of Mexico City.

Llerenas has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from ITAM, a Master’s degree in Government from the University of Essex and a Doctor in Politics from the University of York, both in the United Kingdom. He has been a local deputy on one occasion and a federal deputy on three occasions.
In the Legislative Assembly and in the Chamber of Deputies he has served as secretary of the Finance and Public Accounts Commission. He served as Undersecretary of Expenditures of the Government of Mexico City. He was also mayor of Azcapotzalco, between 2018 and 2021.
