Bolivia had a sad debut in the South American U-15 of which it is host

The South American U-15 soccer championship began this Friday at the Tahuichi Aguilera stadium in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, where the host, Bolivia, debuted with a defeat against Peru, in a match corresponding to group A.

The only goal of the match was scored by Samir Meza (13′), with a left-footed shot from outside the area, which entered the Bolivian goal, kissing the left post.

Bolivia had two goals disallowed, one in each stage, for an advanced position, in addition to a ball that hit the right post of the goal defended by Tomás Dulanto.

When extra time was played, at 82 minutes (in this category 40 minutes are played per side), the Brazilian referee Rodrigo Pereira de Lima expelled the Bolivian Fernando Mena and the Peruvian Matías Martínez, by mutual aggression.

In the preliminary, the teams from Chile and Colombia faced each other. The meeting ended with victory for La Roja 1-0, with a goal from Yastin Cuevasin the first half.

The tournament will continue this Saturday with two matches in group B: Uruguay-Ecuador (5:00 p.m.) and Brazil-Venezuela (7:30 p.m.).
