Yamandú Orsi in Artigas: “We respond with an outstretched hand and seriousness”

Yamandú Orsi in Artigas: "We respond with an outstretched hand and seriousness"

«To the insult, we respond with an outstretched hand. To the disqualification and mockery, we respond with affection for our people and respect for the intelligence of the people,” said Orsi at a public event held in the Northern Department.

The candidate highlighted the urgency of treating security issues responsibly, avoiding the “vulgarization of the discussion” and proposing solid long-term solutions. “Our people can’t take it anymore,” he declared, underscoring the importance of establishing policies that benefit the entire population, without partisan divisions.

Orsi also criticized promises that cannot be kept, ensuring that his proposal focuses on the well-being of workers, retirees and producers. “When we present the ideas, let us be very clear that it is for everyone, not just for our people, because I am going to be the president of all Uruguayans, not just of Frente Amplio,” he expressed firmly.

The candidate mentioned the legacy of Tabaré Vázquez, reiterating his willingness to support those who need it, regardless of their political affiliation. “We are not going to look at colors for that,” Orsi concluded.
