The voter who intends to vote using the digital voter registration card must download the e-Título app until this Saturday (5).
This Sunday (6), voting day, the download will be suspended by the Electoral Court to avoid instability. Access will only resume on Monday (7).
The application is managed by the Electoral Court and can be used as an identification document to vote and access the address of the polling place, in addition to allowing justification for absence from voting.
The e-Título can be downloaded for free from app stores Apple and Android. Then, the user must fill in the requested personal data and validate access to the application.
To be able to vote with a digital ID, the application must contain biometrics, the voter’s photo and be up to date.
Voters can also vote with an official document with a photo, such as an identity card, National Driving License (CNH) or work card.
On voting day, voters will not be able to enter the voting booth with their cell phone, which must be left with the poll workers.
