José Ángel “Jochi” Gómez Canaán arrived at the Attorney General’s Office with one of his lawyers to undergo an interrogation regarding the company Transcorde Latam and the contracts for the Santo Domingo traffic light system.
Jochi, who has been accused on multiple occasions of being an experienced hacker, declared several days ago that he will face Dominican justice to defend his dignity.
“We are going to face justice and we are going to face whoever we have to face to defend our dignity,” said Jochi Gómez.
He noted that, over the past 12 years, attempts have been made to project him as a villain, and that his silence has allowed his name to be used lightly.
Jochi’s visit to the PGR takes place after the Ministry of Defense (MIDE) will inform that the “cooperation agreement” with the private entity AURIX, property of the businessman was signed on June 23, 2020, but the State administration, which began 54 days later, never put it into effect.
The jurist Hiroito Reyes, who accompanied Gómez to the Attorney General’s Office, is an executive of the company Transcorde Latam to answer questions to the head of Pepca, Wilson Camacho, and the director of Prosecution of the Public Ministry, Yeni Berenice Reynoso.
