In the Manuel Sanabria community, on 9th Street in the El Valle parish, an event was held to hand over works. The Minister of Popular Power for Water, Carlos Mast, and the mayor of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez, participated in the activity. The works included the improvement of the main drinking water pipe with the support of more than 15 thousand people from the 5 de Marzo commune.
As well as the replacement of more than 500 meters of eight-inch pipes, in addition to household intakes, which will allow the optimization of water service in the sector, as indicated by the minister who valued the work of the community, because it was an articulated work. , between the institutions and the entire commune.
For her part, the mayor said that with the work of the point and circle, the intervention of fields and renovation of homes has been included as a result of the Public Planning Council, of the community’s decision with the priority project. In this community, works have previously been inaugurated, such as the little park, the popular clinic, the residences, the fence with the murals.
The plans will continue in coordination with the Ministry of Popular Power of Public Works, as part of the 1×10 policies of Good Government, where the requirements of the communities are responded to.
