Starting today, the Dominican Republic It is the venue until Saturday of the first summit of tourism of Africa and the Americas that takes place in Punta Cana.
The event brings together ministers and the main actors of the tourism from both continents, with the sponsorship of UN Tourism and at the request of the Dominican Republic.
The event’s motto is “Promoting cooperation South-South through the investment in education, culture, creative industries and innovation”.
During the three days of activitieshigh-level meetings, presentations and sessions will be held, in which ministersacademics, experts and industry players from both regions will discuss the challenges, challenges, opportunities of investmentsustainable practices, tourism accessible, innovation, culture, history and opportunities for mutual growth between both continents.
