This Wednesday, in the department of Guainía, a single-engine plane crashed. According to the first information, he left Villavicencio heading to the community of Campo Alegre to attend a medical service. However, when attempting to land on an unpaved runway, the aircraft lost control and went off course.

The aircraft, identified with the registration number HK-2790, faced adverse weather conditions, which complicated its landing on an unpaved runway.
When trying to descend in Campo Alegre, the plane lost control and went off the runway, coming to rest a few meters from several nearby homes. Finally, the aircraft stopped among the vegetation, very close to a river, avoiding a major incident.

The inhabitants of the Campo Alegre community quickly came to the aid of the occupant of the small plane, although it is known that he was unharmed, with only minor injuries.
The governor of Guainía, Arnulfo Rivera Naranjo, reported that the private flight’s mission was to provide a medical service. From the Accident Investigation Technical Directorate They issued a statement explaining what happened.
