Cablecomm celebrates 25 years in the DR connectivity market

José Aybar, general director of Cablecommhighlighted that this anniversary not only symbolizes a celebration, but also a recognition of the work and effort of its team, collaborators and strategic partners.

He said that thanks to the solutions it provides, Cablecomm It serves as a platform for the entire topic of artificial intelligence that is being developed and thus fills the growing needs of the market.

“We provide all the equipment and have the capacity to store information, whether data, photos, that institutions require,” he highlighted. “For us it represents something very significant, almost like celebrating a silver anniversary. Throughout these years, we have grown little by little to reach our current size.

Precisely, in the last five years we have managed to double our size. This anniversary is an opportunity to thank our customers, collaborators, distributors and employees for their continued support,” Aybar said.

The general director commented that Cablecomm has managed to differentiate itself in the Dominican market by offering more than just products. In this sense, he noted, providing comprehensive solutions in the field of connectivity has been its main differentiator in the market. Furthermore, he added, with a focus on personalized service, the company has earned the trust of its customers by acting not only as suppliers, but also as technical advisors.

At this point, Aybar mentioned, the certified team of Cablecomm works hand in hand with each client to identify the best solution, adapting to the specific needs of each project.

“Our clients value our ability to offer them technical advice, we do not sell the most expensive, but rather what is most appropriate for them. In addition, we have local inventory in various regions of the country, which allows us to ship materials efficiently and according to their needs. “Aybar explained.

He added that this approach has been key to its positioning and growth in the Dominican market. This, even in the face of great challenges such as the pandemic.

How did you adapt to your great challenges?

Aybar recalled that one of the most complex moments for Cablecomm It arrived between 2014 and 2015, when, due to changes in external situations in the market, its billing was impacted. However, the company knew how to adapt and overcome the situation by expanding its operations in the country by opening a new office in Punta Cana. This allowed them to diversify their client portfolio and maintain growth.

Another major challenge was the 2020 pandemic, which affected their sales, but also gave them an opportunity to demonstrate their ability to adapt.

“We implemented teleworking thanks to our IP telephone exchange and maintained operations. We recovered the pace of our operations towards the end of 2020, and returning to normal levels in 2021,” Aybar explained.

Manufacturer-distributor relationship

For the company’s general director, a fundamental piece in the growth of Cablecomm In recent years it has been its commercial alliance with the company Panduit, a world leader in physical infrastructure for business networks. This commercial relationship began in 2017 and has been decisive in positioning Cablecomm as a reliable and efficient provider of passive connectivity solutions.

“Panduit became a catalyst for our growth, as we relied on their recommendations. In addition, we maintain a constant inventory to be able to respond quickly to market demands. Panduit is our main partner in the area of ​​passive connectivity. Their support has been key for us to continue moving forward,” commented Aybar.

Along these lines, the company has established relationships with new brands such as Dahua for security cameras and Hytera in the telecommunications field, which reinforces its diversification and growth strategy.
