To celebrate the 150th edition, the literary program Trilha de Letras, an original production by TV Brasil On air since 2017, it airs an exclusive interview with digital influencer and writer Felipe Neto for presenter Eliana Alves Cruz on Wednesday (2), at 11:30 pm.
The special guest talks about the new publication How to face hatea recently released book that reports on the process of becoming politically aware.

“This whole maturation process in my life was public. So from my wrong certainties to my biggest mistakes and maturation, I did it in a very public way and that’s why I ended up with this hypocritical image, of changing according to the game because no one you want to understand your process. Only your results. And in that case, people ignore everything that led you to get to a certain place”, he explains.
Directed by Emília Ferraz, Trilha de Letras is in its fourth season and seeks to debate current issues in society through literature. With a weekly window in the programming of TV Brasilthe content is recorded at BiblioMaison, the library of the French Consulate in Rio de Janeiro.
Trilha de Letras is available in podcast format on digital platforms. It can also be followed on the app TV Brasil Play and on the public broadcaster’s YouTube channel. The program is still broadcast on MEC Radio on Wednesdays, 11pm.
Social transformation
During the chat, the YouTuber recalls his experiences on social media, comments on his book club project, mentions initiatives such as the Cala Boca Já Morreu movement, remembers the controversy with the work of Machado de Assis and highlights the importance of promoting reading in infancy.
“Literature is, in my opinion, the greatest weapon of a society in defense of democracy and the civilizing pact. It is not just intellectual, book-report or biography, fiction and fantasy are capable of transforming a life. It transformed mine. It transforms the lives of people around me all the time. When I founded the book club it was to see this transformation become even greater”, he says.
“Literature is, of all the arts, the only one in which you are a co-author. We experienced this on the radio. In literature, when you read a book, you create together with the author what is happening there. Literature, for bringing this creativity, makes you see several different worlds from different perspectives. This brings us empathy, tolerance, calm, patience”, he says.

Since its debut, Trilha de Letras has welcomed hundreds of authors, editors and personalities from the world of books with the opportunity to reflect on the publishing market in the country and abroad. Names such as Antônio Torres, Bráulio Bessa, Cacá Diegues, Domenico de Masi, Duca Rachid, Fabrício Carpinejar, Fernanda Torres, Marçal Aquino, Marcelino Freire, Marina Colasanti, Martha Medeiros, Mary Del Priore, Nei Lopes, Nélida have already passed through the Trilha de Letras. Piñon, Pilar del Rio, Sérgio Rodrigues, Thalita Rebouças, Viviane Mosé and Xico Sá.

THE TV Brasil has already aired three other seasons of Trilha de Letras. The first two were presented by writer Raphael Montes. The third, by Katy Navarro. Journalist, writer and screenwriter Eliana Alves Cruz takes on the fourth season, which has a version on MEC Radio.
