This year the foundation promotes the call #DeLaManoContigo to celebrate the support of family members for breast cancer patients. SenosAyuda has a new headquarters located in the El Bosque urbanization, in Caracas. It also has SenosAyuda en Línea, a platform where patients can manage their requests and obtain faster and more direct care.
The foundation BreastsHelp doubled the number of cancer patients treated and treatments offered during the first seven months of the year, compared to 2023.
Until September alone, 49 consultations, chemotherapies, radiotherapies and surgeries have been channeled to allied medical centers. Last year 41 were attended.
«The indicators are alarming. The number of requests from desperate women and men seeking our support is enormous. This worries us greatly and far from being a reason for celebration, it has become a challenge to fulfill one of our purposes: the early detection of the disease,” said Bolivia Bocaranda, president of SenosAyuda.
For Bocaranda, this situation reflects the “lack of massive public campaigns aimed at informing the population about the risk factors and therefore the detection in advanced stages of the disease, added to the complex humanitarian crisis that is being experienced in the country.” , reasons why we insist on carrying out prevention, information and early detection campaigns.
Between 90% and 97% of patients manage to overcome the disease thanks to early diagnosis, highlighted Vanessa Ochoa, vice president of the foundation. “With a good medical team, assertive treatments and the necessary support, patients can overcome breast cancer.”
In order to provide better care, the foundation moved to a new headquarters, located in the El Bosque urbanization, in Caracas. This allowed the number of offices and specialists to increase.

For the fourth consecutive year, the Pink Gastronomic Route will be activated during the month of October, with allied businesses to collect funds. There will also be a paddle tennis tournament, a fashion show, recreational activities with the “Tetina” mascot and Solidarity Roulette in different shopping centers in Caracas, as well as traditional talks and a monologue by Tania Sarabia.
