The endowment will serve to meet the goal set by the national government of serving four million children in the 2024-2025 school year. In that sense, the minister also explained that this initiative will have a significant improvement in the logistical capabilities of the program, in which the management of perishable foods, such as meat, fruits and vegetables, has presented some difficulties, which is why it was activated. the delivery of freezers to the schools.
