Venezuela mourns the death of General Ortega Saavedra

The Bolivarian Government of Venezuela regretted this Monday the death of the retired general, Humberto Ortega Saavedra in Nicaragua, reported the Chancellor of the Republic, Yván Gi in a post on his Telegram channel.

“The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, on behalf of the Venezuelan people and government, expresses his regret for the sensitive death of General Humberto Ortega Saavedra in Retirement,” Gil wrote.

The Sandinista militant fought against the Somoza dictatorship and the aggressions from the American Government, he pointed out.
