In the middle of a wave of violence that plagues the entire country because of the hitman and the extortions in different sectors of the country, the investigated Minister of the Interior, Juan José Santiváñezannounced that a march for peace against crime is being prepared.
The National Police will participate in this along with different organizations with which their sector has been meeting. According to what he indicated, he has spoken with different associations of transporters, bikers, winemakers, bakers, among others, as well as with some congressmen.
He also pointed out that in the case of transporters and civil works, these cover measures for protection in cases of hitmen or extortion.
“We are structuring a march for peace, where not only will all associations participate, but even the Ministry of the Interior and the National Police. A march for peace so that all organizations, all of us, commit ourselves to this fight against crime,” said Santiváñez at a press conference held at the Congress headquarters.
He also reported that in the coming days the blackout of cellular lines whose owners are not identified will be carried out, which would amount to 25 million, for which coordination is already being carried out with all telephone operators.
In the last week, the Public Ministry began a preliminary investigation against Minister Santiváñez and President Boluarte in the case of the presidential ‘chest’, the president’s official vehicle that Cerrón would have used to escape justice.
