Sesc Belenzinho will host, starting this Tuesday (1st), the 4th Sesc National Youth Forum of LABmais, which will adopt, this year, the theme Creative Sustainability: art and culture as a strength of identity and resilience of young people. The event, which ends on Thursday (3), will offer the public activities such as rhyme battle, development of storyboards for audiovisual, creative writing and dance.
Those who defined the contours of the meeting were the members of the Sesc Laboratory of Arts, Media, Technologies and Youth project, LABmais, an educational-cultural platform designed to dialogue with young audiences. The initiative is present in 18 states and has already trained more than 1,600 young people free of charge to produce podcasts, films, clips, photo essays, book trailers, among other formats.
One of the highlights of the program is the panel Protagonism of original and traditional communities: deconstructing colonial narrativeswhich includes the indigenous peoples Nandyala Waritirre and Milena Makuxi, respectively from the Karajá/iny and Makuxi peoples. The activity is scheduled for next Thursday afternoon.
The complete program can be seen at Sesc Belenzinho website.
