Officials from the Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigation Corps (Cicpc) arrested María Briceño (23) and Katiuska Saltrón (36) for shoplifting.
According to the official report, commissions from the El Llanito Municipal Delegation recorded the arrest of the two women in a shopping center located in the parish and municipality of El Hatillo, Miranda state, after determining that they were engaged in theft in commercial establishments.
The criminals’ modus operandi was to enter establishments and seize valuable items that they could later sell, thus obtaining illicit profits.
Briceño has records for generic theft, generic theft, common generic theft and aggravated theft, while Saltrón has them for common generic theft. The case was left to the order of the Prosecutor’s Office.
