Panorama revealed this Sunday the complete judicial file of non-commissioned officer Felix Montalvo Guevara, President Dina Boluarte’s driver, accused of having used the presidential vehicle, the ‘cofre’, during Vladimir Cerrón’s escape.
The ‘Death Squad’ case, as it is remembered, was discovered by the program ‘Mira qué Habla’ by the journalist and director of Peru21Cecilia Valenzuela.
According to the file released by Panorama, Montalvo could be sentenced to up to 25 years in prison.
THE HISTORY
On a stretch of Ramiro Prialé Avenue the story of this unpunished crime begins.
Five people were murdered at the hands of bad police officers and, although it may seem impossible to believe, the story of these deaths jumps out and reaches non-commissioned officer Félix Montalvo, part of the most intimate security circle of President Dina Boluarte.
What are the charges against Félix Montalvo? What he is accused of is illicit association, there was no criminal organization at that time, and as an additional crime of murder.
Kilometer 2.5 of the Ramiro Prialé highway, in El Agustino, is the place where the current driver of Dina Boluarte’s “box” would have become an alleged murderer.
That June 29, 2015, all the media reported the great victory, the great police success: five criminals were killed after a fierce shootout with the police. They were going to attack a tap in Chosica.
But everything would have been a lie well set up by the police themselves. In the middle of the scene of the fake shooting, the merchant Luis Alberto Laos was in his car, who had no weapons, and only had kites to sell. But, the current presidential driver, Félix Montalvo, and his companions shot him mercilessly again, again and again, according to the file.

The driver of the ‘box’, Felix Montalvo, despite the tremendous police horror, received the honors of the case with recognition for the work done in Ramiro Prialé.

What is the current condition of Félix Montalvo? Montalvo is accused of having participated in the operation, belonging to the Suat, and having shot a victim who was believed to be innocent.

The head of the Oversight Commission, Juan Burgos, told this media that what Santiváñez has done “obstructs” the investigations.

The vice president of the Oversight Commission, Héctor Valer, will propose to Burgos that the driver of the presidential vehicle — known as ‘Dinamóvil’ or ‘cofre’ — be led “by force or force” to testify, in an upcoming session, in accordance with the article 87 of the regulations. This proposal will be announced this Wednesday, October 2, the date on which the Minister of the Interior has also been summoned to testify.
However, the member of that commission, the congressman for Honor and Democracy, José Cueto, said that at the Board of Spokespersons tomorrow, Monday, he will propose that the commission session can be brought forward one day.
