To date, the Chamber of Senators registered the support of 26 local congresses for the changes to articles 13, 16, 21, 32, 55, 73, 76, 78, 82, 89, 123 and 129 of the Political Constitution, approved by the Senate plenary session on the morning of September 25.
The reforms determine that the Federation will have the National Guard as a permanent, professional, public security force made up of personnel of military origin with police training, dependent on the secretariat of the National Defense branch.
