García Fermín suggests PRM officials postpone presidential aspirations and concentrate on working for Abinader’s government

García Fermín sugiere funcionarios PRM posponer aspiraciones presidenciales y concentrarse a trabajar por gobierno de Abinader

SANTO DOMINGO OEST. – Dr. Franklin García Fermín maintained that “at this moment the members of the Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM) must dedicate themselves to governing and accompanying President Luis Abinader in his task of carrying out a highly positive government effort in favor of the Dominican people.”

He also pointed out that it is untimely to raise candidates for the presidency of the Dominican Republic for the PRM.

García Fermín made his statement during the conference he gave at the Iván Guzmán Klang Multipurpose Hall with the title “The Path to Deepen Change and Stay in Power”, before dozens of PRM leaders in this municipality.

“At this time in the country, we officials must work to expose the country to the great achievements of President Luis Abinader’s government,” he said.

He suggested that the PRM leaders postpone their presidential aspirations until later, but that “the moment is to work 24 hours a day for the government.”

García Fermín, member of the Executive Commission of the PRM, assured that the president has carried out a government work with high levels of development and paying off a social debt that Dominicans had expected for decades for the benefit of the entire society.

This activity was attended by the municipal president of the PRM, Francisco Campusano; the head of Zone R, Miguel Rodríguez; deputy Indhira De Jesús; the leaders Santo Isidro Camilo, Aurelio Vélez, Deiby Torres, José Cancel; Vice Admiral Roger Mora, Sedilio Herrera and Samuel Santana, among other participants.

Agenda

García Fermín indicated that he will travel throughout the country to present the Booklet the Path to Deepen the Change and Stay in Power.

He explained that he will first visit the provinces of Duarte, San José de Ocoa and La Vega.
