Tepic, Nay., On the verge of retiring from public life, President Andrés Manuel López Obrador yesterday called keep fighting to make the ideals come true.

That was the second incident of the day in which they complained about the reform. The first occurred hours before, when the president and the president-elect were approached in an elevator by a man who identified himself as a worker from the Judicial Branch of the Federation (PJF).

López Obrador and Sheinbaum were at the Fray Junípero Select hotel in Tepic when the PJF employee boarded the same elevator as them without the assistant’s office staff preventing him, as seen in a video that circulated on social networks.

When the doors had closed, the man told Sheinbaum that he wanted to give him a document about labor impacts resulting from the reform that extinguished the trusts of the Judicial Branch. The elected president responded that it is a lie that the employees are going to be affected and the President intervened to point out: do not defend the corrupt. The scene passed for a few seconds, and the Executive, his imminent successor and the workers left without further incident.
