Juan José Santiváñez attacks Gustavo Adrianzén in audios of 'Culebra': "They called him a thief"

The audios of Captain PNP Junior Izquierdo, also known as ‘Culebra’ continues to reveal more secret conversations of the Minister of the Interior Juan José Santiváñezthis will be announced by the Sunday Panorama this Sunday, September 29. However, through her social networks, journalist Karla Ramírez, from said medium, presented a preview of what will be seen in this report and that leaves Santiváñez in a bad position regarding the respect he could have for Prime Minister Gustavo Adrianzén. .

This fragment that has been exposed reads how the head of the Interior portfolio told ‘Culebra’ about his great popularity shortly after being sworn in as minister and how he mocked the low approval and acceptance of Prime Minister Gustavo Adrianzén. “For God’s sake, huh… I arrived, pu… and the people started applauding: bravo minister, bravo. Keep coming out! The premier, thief, thief! The same people, oh, there were like 200 people,” reads shared images.

It should be noted that these are audios from a recorded talk, where Santiváñez tells Junior Izquierdo the conditions that were imposed on him to occupy the position of Minister of the Interior. Among the topics addressed, the pressure and requests coming from the presidency stand out, which mainly sought the dissolution of the High Complexity Crime Investigation Division (Diviac). This unit had generated discomfort in the Government due to the progress of the investigations related to Nicanor Boluarte, the president’s brother. In addition, the president’s concern about the Harvey Colchado case is mentioned.

PJ will evaluate a prosecutor’s request to have access to the recorder with which ‘Culebra’ recorded Minister Juan José Santiváñez

Next October 15, the Judiciary will decide whether to authorize the lifting of the secrecy of the communications of the device with which the PNP captain Junior Izquierdo, known as ‘Culebra’, recorded a conversation with the Minister of the Interior, Juan José Santiváñez. The hearing, which will take place virtually at 11:30 am, will be presided over by Supreme Judge Juan Carlos Checkley.

The Attorney General’s Office presented the request arguing that the device was voluntarily delivered by the PNP agent. Therefore, it requested that, in due course, judicial authorization be granted to access the information contained in said device.

The Prosecutor’s Office’s requirement includes lifting the secrecy of communications to allow the “identification of originality, access, reading, viewing, extraction of information, transcription and printing of the relevant content” of the device used for recording.

This is the real reason for Captain ‘Culebra”s enmity with Minister Juan José Santiváñez

Last Wednesday, September 18, PNP captain Junior Izquierdo, alias ‘Culebra’ He attended the Oversight Commission to give his testimony about the audios revealing the conversations he would have had with the current Minister of the Interior, Juan José Santiváñez. On that occasion, he revealed the reason for his confessions.

”My attitude was always the same, I am an institutionalist, I love the PNP, I am a career officer and I did it for my institution, in those circumstances I belonged to the Diviac and he was discrediting, he was repeatedly questioning a unit of the National Police of Peru, I want you to be clear about that,” he said.
