The member states of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America-People’s Trade Agreement (ALBA-TCP) categorically condemn the “criminal” attacks perpetrated by Israeli aviation in the city of Beirut, Lebanese Republic.
Through a statement, ALBA-TCP also repudiated the selective assassination of Hassan Nasrallah, secretary general of Hezbollah.
“The member countries of ALBA-TCP reject and repudiate this unprecedented war crime, which has taken the lives of Lebanese children, women and men oblivious to the nature of the conflict. For Israel’s Zionist elite, the destruction of Gaza and the genocide of the Palestinian people have not been enough. They brutally attack the Lebanese people and threaten the peace and stability of the region and the world,” reads part of the statement.

The member states of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America-People’s Trade Agreement (ALBA-TCP) categorically condemn the criminal attacks perpetrated by Israeli aviation in the city of Beirut, Lebanese Republic, this Friday, September 27 2024. They also repudiate the cowardly selective assassination of Hassan Nasrallah, Secretary General of Hezbollah.
The Israeli government orders with impunity and inhumane a series of air strikes against civilian residences, causing death and injury to hundreds of innocent citizens, while its Prime Minister delivers a cynical speech full of lies and manipulations at the United Nations General Assembly, before the astonished gaze of the international community.
The member countries of ALBA-TCP reject and repudiate this unprecedented war crime, which has taken the lives of Lebanese children, women and men oblivious to the nature of the conflict. For Israel’s Zionist elite, the destruction of Gaza and the genocide of the Palestinian people have not been enough. They brutally attack the Lebanese people and threaten the peace and stability of the region and the world.
The Bolivarian Alliance urgently calls on the international community, social movements and governments, regardless of political tendencies, to reject in the most categorical terms the atrocities committed by the Tel Aviv government and urges all of humanity to stop the actions and crimes against humanity that Israel has committed and continues to commit with total impunity and the complicity of the government of the United States of America.
