The Chamber of Accounts of the Republic released this Thursday a consultation module, Citizen Eyeon its web portal to report on compliance with the presentation of the sworn declarations of assets of the elected, re-elected and dismissed officials in their presidential and congressional elective positions of the recently passed electoral process, Ordinary General Elections 2024-2028.
“This technological initiative, with just two steps, will allow the generation of lists of officials appointed by popular election, both at the presidential and congressional levels, indicating their compliance with the legal obligation to present their sworn declarations of assets,” the entity explained. .
How to consult?
According to the Chamber of Accounts, you must select between presidential or congressional, and then select between the Presidency, Chamber of Deputies or Senate depending on what you wish to verify. Immediately, a list will be generated with the name of the entity, position and status (elected, re-elected or dismissed) of the officials who have submitted their declaration and those who have not done so.
The Law 311-14, which establishes the Authorized and Uniform National System of Sworn Declarations of Assets of Public Officials and Servants, and its implementing regulations, number 92-16, establishes a period of 30 calendar days to comply with this duty. In the case of the elected President, Vice President, Senators and Deputies, this period began on August 16.
