The Shipowners Association of the Dominican Republic (ANRD) celebrates its 75th anniversary, with the launch of the Faro scholarship, with the objective of supporting deserving young Dominicans in their academic and professional development, ratifying the entity’s commitment to growth and excellence in the sector. That announcement comes in the context of World Maritime Day, with the motto “Sailing the future: safety first.”
Jaak Rannikpresident of the Shipping Association, presented this scholarship program, with which they seek to train the leaders of the maritime and logistics sector of the future, as part of the actions to transform the Dominican Republic into a world-class logistics hub by preparing future generations.
He explained that candidates must meet the requirements of being a Dominican citizen and resident in the Dominican Republic, being between 18 and 25 years of age at the time of application, having completed secondary education, being admitted or intending to enter a recognized and accredited educational program linked to logistics, in a recognized educational institution in the country.
