In an ordinary session, the council agreed to allocate a monthly monetary allocation of 10,000 soles from September to December, adding a total of 40,000 soles in 2024. These funds will be used to improve the conditions of firefighters, who currently operate with deteriorated uniforms and vehicles in poor condition. The financial support is based on the Organic Law of Municipalities (Law No. 27972), which empowers local governments to manage the resources necessary to protect the well-being of their citizens.
