The community of Cimitarra, Santander, and the entire country have not yet come out of the shock after the tragic death of Yeimis Daniela Vargas Parra, a 19-year-old girl who lost her life on September 21 after a violent confrontation with another young woman, Nicol A. Torres.
The event, which originated from a conflict derived from aggressive exchanges on social networks, has left a family and a community devastated, while justice is demanded for the victim.
Yeimis and Nicol had agreed to meet through Facebook, where the messages prior to the altercation were full of insults and threats.
